(postcript) eagled eyed pension experts will note the example in the DDRB report should probably have £77,604 as non pensionable pay in example 2 to make threshold £200,001. Sure its a typo but grateful for DHSC for pointing out how stupid this tax is

BCIS notes with great sadness the death of Alain Cribier. Alain was a true giant of interventional cardiology. Against many obstacles, some jealousy, and not a little hostility, Alain never wavered from his goal of bringing #TAVI to the masses. It is to people like Alain, willing to swim against the tide, and pursue distant dreams, that we owe the greatest debt of gratitude.
