Not long ago Colorado had surplus revenue of $4Billion; roughly $1000/taxpayer which because of TaBoR was refunded to taxpayers. Thats gone. Now they’re adding a $500/ to your insurance that you are forced to buy because it’s a right for someone else to get for free.

So not only did sanctuary policies facilitate circumstances that allowed an unlicensed, uninsured illegal alien to hit my 22yo daughter and then flee, leaving her permanently and profoundly disabled, our esteemed @GovofCO (sarcasm) will actively hinder needed therapies and services for her as well as hinder my ability to be her full time caregiver because she requires 24/7 care. While simultaneously throwing millions upon millions of dollars, to services for people like the woman that stole my daughter’s future. Who did not have to pay one cent towards her medical expenses (remember, no insurance). We were denied the wheelchair Carissa needs and I pay for her physical therapy out of pocket. But people who should not be here will have all their medical needs provided. Let that sink in.

@Jamo_12 @conservmillen Why do you believe it is God speaking more of His word 1820ish years after Christ gave us everything for salvation? Do you really think he left something out?!? Or, could it be that Joseph was deceived by the “angel” that somehow there was more left unsaid? I just don’t buy it!

@gabel_sandy @conservmillen “God breathed” doesn’t mean “written by God”. It means something closer to “life giving”(see Gen. 2:7) I believe that scripture is inspired and helps people immensely. That doesn’t make it infallible or 100% complete. Why do you want to prevent God from speaking more of His word?

I had no idea LDS members would balk at this very basic, central belief about hell, heaven, and who goes where. Yes, all Christians believe in hell and that we deserve to go there. That’s the bad news. The good news is, through Christ, we can be saved from hell and instead spend eternity with him. This is not accomplished through ordinances, church membership, or claims of apostolic succession, but through Jesus’s sacrifice alone. The good news is that there is nothing you can or must do to earn your way into God’s Presence. Rather, Jesus’s blood is sufficient in making us clean and acceptable before God. You are free to believe that access to eternity with Jesus can only be accomplished through following LDS ordinances, and that non-LDS members will only have a degree of glory (but not God’s presence) in the afterlife. It’s just not a Christian belief. For a believer in Christ, there is nothing good about the news that we non-Mormons will live forever in a “better place” but without the presence of Jesus. That is not heaven. Jesus is the prize! And our place with Him is secured by grace through faith in Him. Hallelujah! “For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”” Romans 10:13

@Jamo_12 @conservmillen I guess we will agree to disagree that the Bible was “God breathed,”so yes, written by God. (2 Tim 3:16-17) As for imperfect people who follow Him-that is everyone, no? By Grace alone and faith alone I am saved! I do not need another book to give me anything else!

@gabel_sandy @conservmillen Nothing in the Bible says the Bible is complete… Jesus didn’t write the Bible, His followers did. I’m sure what Jesus did was enough; that is why I trust Him. I’m far more concerned about the imperfect people who follow Him.

@Jamo_12 @conservmillen Yes-I know that it refers to that book BUT I also know it is further confirmation-again, see Galatians 1:8-9 and Hebrews 1:1-2 that Christ’s word and authority IS the last word. Never understood those who believe (ie: Mormons/Muslims) that somehow what Jesus did wasn’t enough. 🤷‍♀️

@gabel_sandy @conservmillen You do know Rev 22:18-19 is not referencing the whole Bible, right? It is just referencing the Book of Revelation.

@conservmillen I appreciated the way you let him speak but also exposed the key differences-which Mormons try to hide so they can fool Christians. I do wish you would have discussed Rev 22:18-19 and Galatians 1:8-9 which clearly call any addition or “new revelation” to be accursed.

I am fine with/expect LDS members disagreeing with the gospel. I would just appreciate the admission that it is indeed a different gospel than what any Christian believes

Kimmel’s hateful and violent rhetoric is intended to divide our country. His monologue about my family isn’t comedy- his words are corrosive and deepens the political sickness within America. People like Kimmel shouldn’t have the opportunity to enter our homes each evening to spread hate. A coward, Kimmel hides behind ABC because he knows the network will keep running cover to protect him. Enough is enough.  It is time for ABC to take a stand.  How many times will ABC’s leadership enable Kimmel’s atrocious behavior at the expense of our community.

Fewer than 3 years. That’s all the time we have left. If we lose 2026, we are likely to lose 2028. Our Republican Senate majority hasn’t passed any meaningful legislation, which means many of President Trump’s policies aren’t codified into law. If a democrat president wins 2028, then these 4 years won’t mean anything. The next Department of Homeland Security Secretary will reopen the border — just like Alejandro Mayorkas did. Then, when democrats regain control of the Senate, they will nuke the filibuster & pass legislation to implement automatic mail-in ballots in all 50 states. Ballot harvesting will be the law of the land. They will stack the Supreme Court, add 2 new democrat Senators with the creation of DC as a state, & establish a permanent democrat majority. We have the power to stop this, but the question is whether or not @LeaderJohnThune wants to be remembered as a hero or a villain.

I’m so sick of people saying, “well, maybe Erika should stay home!” Bro, that is none of your business. How do you know where her kids are? How do you know they’re not with her? How do you know she’s not home 95% of the time? Also, it doesn’t affect you! Just pray for her protection and strength and keep your busybody thoughts to yourself
