Something that is so evident to most of us seems confusing to others so here goes nothing. Two years ago the “body positivity” movement was omnipresent. Almost all media outlets were trying to glamorize and promote some level of obesity. It all vanished seemingly overnight. why? Could it be that the moment the pharma companies started mass marketed a weight loss drugs thier goals completely changed? If you are not connecting the dots here I’ll try and help. Massive Pharma sponsorship dollars have essentially bought media(not an overstatement). Prior to a profitable weight loss drugs the pharma companies made more money the less healthy we were. A lazy society inflicted with rampant hyperinsulinemia was perfect for profits. Now that motivation is gone and it’s been replaced. . The wake up call is this, we are constantly being manipulated by media. You have a choice of being the trusting mark or being someone who follows the money.
