Rowling keeps going on about "mutilation of children", when the only mutilation is of intersex kids and complete silence from her. Silence from the "Gender Critical" movement as a whole as they only lie about gender affirming care and don't give 2 shits about kids

i can't unsee it now, but truth be told i did not see it the first time. i thought 'huh, looks ai generated' and thats it. i actually accept the narrative that the right-wing extremists get suckered into using it because they didn't see what was right in front of them. i also accept the narrative that people might think this makes me naive!

@garageland66 True! All actors are potentially hostile. That's part of the point. And while someone's immigrant status may affect how the law treats their entry into a country, a trans person's correct gender on their passport doesn't, is not a lie, and is more accurate for identifying them.

Passports already work perfectly well.
There’s no justification for changing the system in a way that would forcibly out trans people and put them at greater risk of abuse.
At this point, people like Maya might as well be calling for trans people to wear pink triangles.
