The verse in Timothy is talking about Timothy's childhood scripture being given in the present tense in the previous verse, which is definitely a copy and arguably the Greek Septuagint, a Greek translation of OT

God promised to preserve His word. The KJV is where He preserved it. Therefore the KJV corrects the original language when the original language is wrong. Logical conclusion: God’s word wasn’t inspired in the original language written by the original authors. It’s was inspired when the 40 translators translated the KJV translation. 🤣🤣

I don’t think ‘foreknowledge’ “necessarily means exhaustive knowledge of a settled future,” but note this analogy actually boomerangs back on Idol Killer. Foreknowledge of X = knowledge of X prior to the occurrence of X. Forefather of X = biological ancestor of X, i.e., one who existed prior to X.

That’s not biblical anthropology, it’s Pelagianism.

Seems to me all the essential elements of pure Pelagianism are implicit in these two statements--starting with a denial of humanity's fallenness, coupled with an assertion that the power of human free will is sufficient to reform the heart of a God-hating sinner.
