BREAKING 🚨 Tesla is developing an all-new smaller, cheaper electric SUV, four people familiar with the matter told Reuters 🔥 The automaker has contacted suppliers in recent weeks to discuss details of the plan for the compact SUV – which would be a new vehicle and not a variant of Tesla’s current Model 3 or Y, the people said. The conversations involved the manufacturing process and specifications for various components, they said. Three of the people ‌said the compact SUV would be produced in China, and one said Tesla also aims to expand production to the United States and Europe. The car would be 4.28 meters in length, or about 14 feet, two of the sources ‌said. That’s significantly shorter than Tesla’s top-selling Model Y SUV, which is about 15.7 feet long.

I connected a 3.5'' floppy drive to my @Tesla, and it works. It's nice that the Linux kernel still supports this subsystem. The system script mounts any detected disk drive (with some exceptions) as external storage for Sentry/Dashcam/media source. It's even possible to play a single MP3 file from the diskette. Unfortunately, formatting the diskette to exFAT fails, and it can't be used with Sentry. It's a shame.

I see 🚸 Rivian in 2026 as ⚡️ Tesla in 2017 - it's about to have its "Model 3 moment" with the R2 launch 😯 If executed well, R2/R3 series will outsell the existing R1S/T series by an order of magnitude (just like 3/Y did to S/X), increasing production volume 10X, revenue 5X and generating profit for the company (gross at first and then net as well). And then R4, R5 and who knows what else will come 😏 It will be a long journey - 2030 is my investment horizon. I'm very excited about Rivian's future 🤩 $RIVN @RJScaringe
