@AlanRappa That’s awful. I went through tough times during the pandemic too and I don’t feel fully recovered either. I hope better times are ahead for you.

Four years ago I was laid off from my job due to Covid-19 and my mental health has still yet to fully recover. Being unemployed and uninsured during a pandemic was incredibly stressful, and as much as I tried to stay positive I was absolutely crumbling on the inside.

English is funny. Saving money isn’t the same as “saving money” when buying something. The latter is just spending money (even if it costs a bit less than you expected). Isn’t that odd? In one context, “saving money” means you spent money!🤑

@AlanRappa We canceled them a year ago and they didn’t even offer us a very good discount but we’re glad we switched. Next up is switching wireless providers and hopefully saving some money.

@handstand30 it was brutal. I appreciate that they offered me 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80% discounts in order to keep me, but hell... why didn't you just offer me those prices while I WAS a customer? it was painful, but finally pulled the plug. Switching to Ring

Two hours on the phone, and 6 individuals spoken to before I could finally cancel my ADT service. We really need a 'Click to Cancel' rule so companies can not force you to go through this BS in order to cancel your account.

@MichalRytter Funny! I was just comparing these two sets myself. The City set has really cute minifigs but might be too big for my space. The Friends version has nice trees and possibly a new hot chocolate mug (not sure?). I'm leaning towards the Friends set.

Pick one. LEGO Friends design is really killing it over the last few seasons.
