Children die in school shootings and it’s “not the guns”. Mass shootings claim lives multiple times a year and it’s “not the guns”. Kyle Rittenhouse shot 3 people during a protest and it’s “not the guns” ICE kills Alex Pretti, and suddenly it’s his fault because he “had a gun”

Tomorrow is January 6th. My candidate lost this election. But I’m not currently packing up my tactical gear and bear spray. I’m not throwing a pop-up gallows kit, a California king sized Kamala flag and a taser into a duffle bag. I don’t have any plans to head to the Capitol with a bunch of my fellow Harris voting buddies so that we can beat up the officers in charge of protecting that building in the hope that we’ll stop the certification of an election we lost. I’m not doing any of that shit, because I’m not an idiot, I’m not an asshole, and I’m not in a motherfucking cult.

…Did JD really imply that DONALD TRUMP has more common sense than people with Doctorate degrees who are literal EXPERTS in economics and finance? #VPDebate2024

That’s not how abortion works, Donald. This is the man who wants to control your health care access and he never fails to lie about abortion and reproductive health care. Almost like he’s seriously unqualified. #Debate2024

@RutgersAltRoute Feedback should be given in a meaningful way that enables the student to grow. For example, rather than positive and negative, frame it in a way that shows opportunities for growth and allow them to reflect and explore. #GrowthMindset #TeacherEd

Feedback is a compass for improvement and not all feedback is created equally. For Q4 share your content area and consider your best practices and those you would like to try #TeacherEd #GrowthMindset

@RutgersAltRoute A2 Foster a safe environment with kindness, high expectations, positive attitude, encouraging risk taking and making mistakes; emphasize process, self-reliance, and self-assessment; treat all students as equally intelligent and capable; offer detailed, process-oriented feedback.

@RutgersAltRoute Mindset is everything, and we need to teach children to be open to facing challenges and build persistence and a willingness to learn. Without it, children won’t know that making mistakes is okay and is how we learn most of the time. #GrowthMindset #TeacherEd

@RutgersAltRoute Q3 Pt1 Besides universal design and positive reinforcement, I have found that tapping into what brings joy to the students is the most effective way to get students interested in the content and learning. In one of my LDS classes, the best way is through movement.#TeacherEd #SpEd

@RutgersAltRoute Something that has worked with my younger students with diverse needs is providing a schedule that includes breaks for them. The day is incredibly long and this definitely aids in regulating them. #TeacherEd #SpecialEd

Teachers play a role in helping students learn and practice self-awareness skills and communicate their understanding. For Q4 think about what you’ve done or ideas you’d like to implement to help students be self-advocates, agents of their own success #TeacherEd #SpecialEd

@bananasbri @RutgersAltRoute As someone who over-analyzes I always can think I can do something more as well so I can relate. I think the largest challenge I’ve had is wanting to do more or recommend things but due to budget constraints/things out of my control it can be tough. #TeacherEd
