There's nothing wrong with Worlds being in the US and it rankles me that these fearmongering BS takes keep coming up. The US is just as safe, it not safer, as any other country. You know what will happen when you come over here as a tourist from another country for a League of Legends event? Nothing, you'll have a great time, particularly in Texas. Don't be a nuisance, don't break the law and you'll be right as rain. "With everything going on in the US," meaning what exactly? Unless you plan to get in fights with law enforcement you shouldn't have a problem. If your that concerned with US domestic issues, which have nothing to do with you and which you won't be involved in, that it makes you not want to travel, then don't.
