NEW NEWS! We took possession of our FIRST HOME earlier this week 🏠 Got emotional and shared our first hug in the new home as soon as the Jayman Built team left the house 🥹 The house was one of the three properties we saw back in October, and we knew right away that this specific house was it even though it was just bare bones. We can’t wait to transform this house into our home and I’ll be sharing that process here as well. New video series is already in the works and I have the outline and b-rolls ready… 👀 P.S. Cannot WAIT to work with home brands for the rest of the year ✨

@KadiaDialUGC @ugcbyhira I’m talking about the entire UGC concept getting scrapped. So maybe they decide that they’ll do long form VSL or a founder’s ad or other forms of ads instead. It’s not just the angle that changes.

When an agency goes completely quiet after you’ve already signed the contract… I followed up with multiple team members for updates, and two months later the response was: “We’ve stopped working on UGC assets for that brand.” 💀 How is this normal? #ugc #ugccreator #ugccommunity

Yes, we don’t have S Corps in Canada. So it’s starting a corporation/incorporating. I’d say 100K+ is when it makes sense because you pay for more and higher accounting fees as a corporation. Anything below that it doesn’t really help a lot. I maxed out my FHSA so now I’m gonna max out my RRSP 😅

@UGCwithtaylorr Someone told me about incorporating, is that the same thing? Like a business account that holds the funds and you pretty much pay yourself a salary and pay less taxes on what’s in the account?🤔

Really starting to see how much taxes effect my income as a self employed person🥲 First taxes on its own is a big chunk… THEN because I’m self employed I have to pay CPP (SS for Americans) as the employer AND employee. Andddddd I don’t get benefits🙂 Being self-employed has its perks, but there’s a lot people don’t see behind the scenes.

I used to use ChatGPT all the time, but honestly, it's trash. Always gives me over-explained answers, goes into way too much detail, and makes stuff up. Anyone got a solution for this?
