Right, I’m off to Hertfordshire to help out a young girl in need that I met in prison. Because god forbid people actually get the support they need from the state. She’s a vulnerable young girl with a baby, not long released from prison. Thrown to the bottom of the pile. I’m sure if she had come in on a small boat illegally she would be getting everything she needs right now!!!!
This is deeply worrying news, and I think it's important we talk about what it actually means for real people. Conversion therapy causes genuine psychological harm, and that is not a matter of opinion but of consistent clinical evidence built over many decades. I am very pleased to report that the BSB have evidently considered the complaint against me by the Good Law Project and Euan Weddell very carefully and have determined there is no case to answer. As both the GLP and EW made their complaints public I think it appropriate to share the outcome. I will be proceeding with my action in defamation against Mr Maugham.
