This post took off and I’m not surprised. Revenue posts will always bring out curious new streamers, growing streamers, and trolls who have probably never gone live and savor their Cheeto dust… 🙄 However, a handful of comments wish I’d shown my full revenue stats for the month. I chose not to do this because this is my full time job and I know I’m not making nearly as much as I could if I had “a real job”. I know this. I have to come to terms with it every month when I choose which bills to pay and which ones to skip. But it’s worth it when I wake up genuinely excited for my day most of the time versus dreading my job and living my life on someone else’s terms. Content creation as a mother and a “wife” is not glamorous or a get-rich-quick solution. It’s hard fucking work. Not to mention success in this industry often involves luck, whether people choose to believe that or not. Your hard work can increase your odds, but at the end of the day despite the algorithms, someone seeing your content stills requires good timing - and that is luck. So for my own well being - I say no thanks to that level of judgement. Hope yall can understand that.
