@mindoflivi Oh well that makes sense. Why would patreon be the same as the free socials? Nobody would ever convert. It has to be new/extra content that nobody else gets.

THIS is what it means to diversify your income. Since I'm in fulltime school+work, I can't stream as much. So my goal this year was to start making money on platforms that I already post to. There's more to be done but this is a great starting point for many! Im seeing the work pay off. Please ask your questions and let me help!

People joining the free tier is actually huge! Now you just have to entice them to join the paid tiers! Give the free tiers a sneak peak to show them what theyre missing! Post a poll to figure out what theyre looking for /what would make them convert. Research is your best friend!

@WATCHHOLLIE i've been doing $5 a month and haven't seen much investment so $3 is better interesting!! i've been having issue where most are stuck in the free part of funnel

Relate, girl! If you can outsource then do that (hire an editor/ manager etc) whatever money you make via twitch/socials put it towards your socials. If you make no money on socials then just start small. Do 1 thing at a time. Idk why everyone decides to post on ALL platforms immediately and it's mediocre content because they cant put the time into it. Just choose 1 platform other than twitch and focus on growth+monetization. Learn all of its ways. Do A/B testing. Once its growing and you're making money, move on to the next. It will feel easier. Yesss! Offer them something they want. Ex: oh youre looking for a fitness program? My patreon has monthly programs available. Ex: viewer "I want an entrance sound!" Youre in luck! Its 3 dollars a month on my patreon! I only ever bring it up when people are already asking for things. Feels more natural. And $3 a month is so reasonable.

@SapphireSuniver I only picked 1 to focus on first. It felt more realistic. Stared with Twitter, then once I felt like i had a good grasp I moved to TikTok, then Patreon, then Youtube. Insta is next for me but only when the rest of them feel like its moving on its own.

@WATCHHOLLIE I think I keep switching my focus too much and I don't focus on one platform enough!!! I'm a small streamer and love my Twitch stream! I'd love to really focus on either Tik Tok, X or Youtube to focus on monetizing something else.......as I'm not monetized anywhere else yet.

@LittleSwedishh There is away around it. Are you using OBS to virtual cam to it? If not just add your camera as you would add gameplay capture, that's how I got around it ^^

HOW ON EARTHHHHHHHHHH do you guys go live on tiktok studio? I cannot, for the life of me, figure it out. Everyime I follow a tutorial it says it cant enable my webcam because I have to go live 3 times beforehand? HOW do I bypass that GARGABE? #tiktoklive

@LittleSwedishh Fam, just go live for an hour and a half and end/start a new live every 30 minutes. Just let your computer run and walk away. Thats what I did.

When I quit streaming for a year, I went to TwitchCon and was met with legit someone saying "you're brave to come here" because of all the drama. The DRAMA??? I wasnt streaming let alone talking to any streamers. I unfollowed everyone and ghosted when I quit. Yet I STILL got wrapped up in drama while I was away. Im over it now, but I bring it up to share that no matter what you do or don't do, you'll get haters. Just be you and try to do what's right; family and best friends are so much more important than randoms on the internet who think they know you. Sending hugs 🫂
