I think back to the kids we couldn't save, and all rankings are pointless in the face of that.

This was true in my college too. It's not a public-private thing, it's a very sad reality of an education system that exists, not to explore your uniqueness, but to standardise & homogenise, essentially eroding diversity, thus devaluing & alienating a vast majority of people.

Why do people sound like my grandparents? Why don't we have sex education? Why can't we create more space for those who shock, offend and disturb? Why do we want west-inspired growth but not its ideals of freedom? Why can't we pay attention to more important things? #thoughts
