@AndreasSteno Trump never said he will use nukes. He said he will attack bridges and power plants. He will TACO. The reason being that this will in no way help re-open the strait of hormuz.

There's a 12 point delta in averages between the 2 of them there and I don't think Smith makes errors frequently enough to equate to an extra half century of runs per match (used to the workload or not)

@fedginator @MediumPaceDobb1 I think that's a bit unfair on Foakes. He's an excellent batsman at County level. My point relates more to the demands of keeping wicket in test cricket. Plenty of back to back tests, 5 tests in quick succession. Smith isn't used to that workload as he doesn't keep for Surrey

@ian20002 @MediumPaceDobb1 I just don't think that's a useful rule. England and Surrey don't have the same selection criteria here - Surrey can justify playing an ehhh batsman to fit in a great keeper because the overall batting standard is lower. That's nice not true for test cricket
