Russians attacked lyceum in Avdiivka, Chernihiv region with 3 drones‼️School building was damaged and buses destroyed. According to Chaus, head of the Chernihiv Regional Administration, students had been attending classes in person until recently, when the school switched to a mixed format due to frequent air raids.

@DarthPutinKGB If I remember correctly the story was even funnier than that. The Qataris tried to walk the whole thing back after the story blew up, but Trump went on to bully them into "gifting" the plane to him anyways.

Qatar bribed Donald with a $400 million jet in the belief he would do what they wanted. How stupid must they feel now?

The tragedy is that he was allowed to bullshit his way out of everything in his life, fraud, sexual abuse, collusion with Russia, soliciting foreign interference, even attempting to overthrow the US government. Knowing all of this the American people chose him to be their representative for a second time, so he could continue to torture the world with his cavalcade of stupidity.

The truly sad/tragic thing about this is that Trump has turned his war of choice into one of necessity. He can’t/won’t back down now because Iran has leverage over Straits and Gulf. Hard to imagine barring some truly unanticipated event that we won’t be in this for months.

The US is driving global economic instability again, this time setting up a double whammy of an energy crisis with an LLM bubble collapse looming on the horizon.

Q: Can you explain why a package this large is necessary? HEGSETH: First of all, none of this would've been possible without Midnight Hammer. Without that audacious mission with very clear goals that did obliterate their ability to enrich. We're still dealing with the environment Joe Biden created.

i've gotta hand it to him fleecing the Arabs for billions and sweeping it into your family’s personal accounts, hell, even taking a jumbo jet from them then royally (pun intended) fucking them over in a poorly conceived op your handlers convinced you to do with no real off-ramp as they must then watch their economies and reputations for being safe havens crumble is just an incredible move maybe the best to ever do it

WSJ: Arab governments were furious about Israel’s attack and the U.S. failure to head it off, officials said. They had aggressively lobbied the Trump administration to stop U.S. and Israeli strikes on Iranian energy infrastructure and now feel a target has been put on their backs, they said… America’s Arab allies are now fuming that they don’t seem to have any influence with the Trump administration despite heavy investments of time and money.

@kvistp I don't know, maybe we should be rooting for the guy even though he's an asshole. Hopefully this gains some traction now that it's out there that the emperor has no clothes.

@RonFilipkowski Don't forget his uncle was a professor at MIT, so Trump has to be at least just as smart as his uncle. I mean they used to talk about Nuclear. Good genes.

I’m sure Trump anticipated all of this and has a great plan because he’s a master strategist. He founded Trump University, so he’s obviously a very smart guy.

Russians bailed Trump out in the past by laundering money through his real estate, then they helped get him elected, twice. In a sense Putin is his friend, his partner in crime. I'm sure in his mind all Ukraine did for him was get him impeached, while in reality he got himself impeached, but narcissist don't take responsibility for their actions when things go bad.

@BohuslavskaKate Putin has no incentive to make any kind of serious deal with the US. It is unlikely there will be another US president as subservient to russia as Trump, at least not in Putin's lifetime. Any arrangement he makes with Trump is sure to be short lived.

The Trump administration believes that incentivizing Russia to end the war in Ukraine, welcoming it back economically and showering it with U.S. investments, could eventually shift the global order away from China. - Politico The fact that this approach has consistently resulted in Russia invading its neighbors again seems to concern no one. Who cares if Ukrainians will get bombed again, right?

I’ve been speaking to officials from U.S. allies around the world for the last year and many already doubted Trump’s commitment to their defense alliances, informed by his public questioning of Article 5, threats to reduce U.S. deployments, and generally dismissive rhetoric. His attempts to take Greenland were a breaking point for many. Some will see this not so much as punishment for failing to join the Iran war, but as his honest thoughts about alliances in general.

Trump: "Because of the fact that we have had such Military Success, we no longer 'need,' or desire, the NATO Countries’ assistance — WE NEVER DID! Likewise, Japan, Australia, or South Korea. In fact, speaking as President of the United States of America, by far the Most Powerful Country Anywhere in the World, WE DO NOT NEED THE HELP OF ANYONE! Thank you for your attention to this matter. President DONALD J. TRUMP"

@ChrisO_wiki I think it makes sense for a simple reason, they don't want the army to use communications that they can't monitor easily. I mean there are rumours Putin is increasingly afraid of a mutiny. Preventing another 1917 scenario is probably top priority for Putin.
