@SecularRonin is concerned with the hypocrisy in western liberalism that is showcased in @YasMohammedxx's book Unveiled: I was so disgusted with the with how with how a mother can treat her child in that kind of fashion and the the kind of excuses you have to conjure up in your own mind to follow the dictates of your own religion to justify child abuse, to justify misogyny and the whole host of other fundamentalist practices that go against anything we would consider progressivism and and even liberalism. I ranked it up there with American Slavery As It Is by Theodore Wells... but unfortunately we're living in the year today 2026 and it's not the 1600s or 1700s when we had legalized slavery, yet I kept feeling that there was a slavery of the spirit a slavery of the mind that Yasmine was subjected to...
