Ik werk als engineer tussen universitair geschoolde collega’s in dezelfde functie. Soms verbaas ik me over hun werkwijze. Mee eens dat HBO’ers geen doctorstitel moeten krijgen.

@flyosity @MercedesBenz This is the stupidest control system. You have to slide your finger to adjust the volume and cruise control. The small menu buttons with ‘OK’ are even more frustrating, you can slide left, right, up, and down, but it hardly works, or you slide too far.

Ondanks een ontheffing om de maximale hoogte te mogen overschrijden, bleek de lading van een vrachtwagen toch te hoog voor het viaduct aan de Vlaardingerdijk in Schiedam. Als gevolg hiervan raakten zowel het viaduct als de lading flink beschadigd.

The Clubhouse Karen— This guy is the florist/landscaper for the clubhouse. He sees a couple, and the woman is trying to get into his lockbox to use the key his company uses. He confronts her, and she doesn’t like it. She sends her husband home to get their key, but when the florist enters the clubhouse, her husband tries to follow right after him even though he tried to shut the door. Karen spends the next several minutes berating the guy while he’s trying to do his job. He has a lot more patience than I do.
