Knowledge is knowing a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad. Knowledge is knowing a pineapple is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it on pizza.

@danmall Great question. I still validate my markup in case I am not sure if the markup is valid or when simply being curious. On the other hand I do not valid my markup ( anymore since 10 years) just for the sake of validating my markup.

@mmatuzo I kinda like storybook. Don't love it thought. But I use @frctl more frequently and enjoy. I do not see it as an alternative to storybook. But worth looking into when building components and layouts similar to how you might do with using storybook. fractal.build

I love the `columns` css property and every time when I can use it instead of grid or flexbox.

"What traits do you see in the most successful devs?" It's June 2019. On the day of my graduation, nervously contemplating life beyond, I asked this question to my bootcamp operations manager. He'd seen hundreds of devs go through the program. I never forgot what he said:

I will listen to the prince album catalogue in chronological order the next weeks. Without the compilation or live stuff it should be ca 30 days 🟣

I know so much of his stuff but do not have any idea of how he evolved, what came before what etc ...

Learning with Jason @LWJShow is such a nice show. Watching Jason getting his hands dirty with new technology and with so many great guests on the show is such a fun way to learn. Highly recommend this.

Working on Tailwind CSS v3.0 docs and I literally can't come up with a single good example of using ::before/::after where it wouldn't be nicer to just use real HTML elements instead of pseudo-elements 🤪 Anyone have a good idea I could use for the docs?

@alvaro_montoro I don't think you need to. I think that the discussion with the candidates are more important than the right answers.

And while talking about interviews... here's a question (slightly modified so the test doesn't need updating), that only ~40% of the candidates have been able to respond correctly. Too difficult? Which of these CSS selectors will match only links having the "rel" attribute...

@alvaro_montoro It is easy but a bit strange to see the wildcard (*) in there because without it it would still select all links with that attribute, is that maybe the purpose to make it a bit confusing for the test sake? 😄

And to the people answering: is a question like this... Easy? Medium? Difficult? We ask it at a UI Developer test for entry/mid-level (2-5 years experience). ...although I may need to replace it with another after sharing it online.
