Machine naturalism is much more repulsive and stupider than machine spirituality, the beauty of technology is the metal and porcelain, the naked wires, not that it resembles “nature” and how code is “actually like DNA and trees.” Pure ugliness.

@r0b0t_sp1der i’m still very much learning the ropes of audio, i wanted a very metallic/vibrational sound so i recorded the piano with an iPhone laying directly on the frame; the voice was generated from a similarly tinny source, i then applied some light filters and added a hard limiter

@chronosensitive yes, i think pure chaos is often the wrong lens when contrasting nature with imposed order; i believe much of the beauty we enjoy comes from chaotic growth within an ordered substrate
