@RickStrahl @SteveBlack Thing is, the best way to grok Linux is try to forget what you know from Windows. At the outset, if you go through a UI you don’t really **see** anything. In Linux everything is a file, config is plaintext. UIs, especially for server config, is like being in an absurd cartoon.

@rschummer Some ideas: * SET DATE AMERICAN * SET NEAR OFF * Ensure string PKs have same LEN() * Ensure compound index expressions eval to a constant length * Ensure critical SELECT SQL strings are padded to consistent LEN().

VFP8/DBC/DBFs. Clock on both computers, correct. Proper runtimes. Win10 Home. Restart app so not caching. Todays data from one file and others that show from another file. Works on some days, but fail streak for days. Reindex almost daily. Ideas? (2/2)

The potential jump of 45 cents in Michigan gas tax is a bad idea on many levels. The push by Tesla and GM and others to make the world run on electric is just one. Hits lower and middle class too. What's next, higher taxes on electricity? Are you listening @GovWhitmer ?
