Andrei Bolabola!!! Aww!!! 🥺

DOJ Secretary Fredderick Vida urges the public to avoid being "judgmental and biased" as the probe into the drowning of Ateneo basketball players Rene Baterbonia and Divine Adili is ongoing.

I agree. Gets naman siguro ng karamihan na may lapses din talaga ang mga rescuers at LGU, at dapat ding imbestigahan iyon. Pero kung babalikan mo ang puno’t dulo ng lahat, it started with the decision to hold a training activity in the open sea despite the waves, rip currents, and the obvious risks involved. That’s why it’s weird seeing so much focus on what happened during the rescue while barely talking about the decision that put those players in danger in the first place. (When I catch you, ADMU 🫵🏻) Accountability shouldn’t start only when the emergency begins. It should start with the people whose decisions created the emergency.

Not a fan of blanket suspension. Sorry These kids should not suffer the consequences of the actions of the adults Suspend/fire the adults. Ban them from attending games. But not the athletes. Wala sila kasalanan.

Team bonding trips were a huge part of our season...It was about building trust, connection, and the kind of mental toughness that you carry with you on and off the field. This is exactly the kind of culture BEBOB lives by. It’s tradition. It’s team building. It is NOT hazing.

these statement could possibly be sugarcoated, kaya wapakels na dapat sa mga athlete na ‘to (tho we can still learn from them), hindi dapat sa kanila ang sisi. The best thing we could do now is to make ADMU accountable—suspend them in any basketball tournament including UAAP.
