INTERNATIONAL UPDATE: The United States (US) and Iran have agreed to a conditional two-week ceasefire, following last-minute negotiations brought about by US President Donald Trump's earlier threats to carry out attacks on Tehran if it failed to reopen the Strait of Hormuz. Trump later backed down from the ultimatum as talks progressed. The agreement, relayed through Pakistan as a mediator, includes Iran pausing attacks and allowing safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz, while the US and its allies suspend military operations. #BeyondLoyola

UNIVERSITY UPDATE: The Office of Admission and Aid (OAA) has begun releasing college admission results for AY 2026–2027. Applicants can expect to receive their results via email. Applicants who have yet to receive a decision are advised to continue monitoring their registered email addresses, including their spam and promotions folders.
