I think cases of LLM-overuse can happen because it's easy to optimize for perceived enjoyment rather than time-to-solution while working.

What do you do while waiting for AI to generate?
Me: Write another prompt for a another project
While one is busy thinking and generating, I switch over to the other to review code or write the next prompt.
Honest question:
What do you actually do during those 5–10 mins while Claude is running?
Stare at it?
Switch tabs?
Start scrolling and forget?
Or already juggling another task?
Feels like this weird new “waiting state” in our workflow.
