@0xBiZzy I suggested many times to the Met team to introduce “one-way” bins on the dlmm so you can scale in and out using different strategies. This is amazing work!

How does the ability to deploy range based limit orders on any Solana pairs sound? Select your range using specified prices or percentage based then batch deploy up to 20 orders. Linear orders:(same amount of tokens in each order) -image 1 Exponential curve: Smallest order closest to current price -image 2 is a 2:1 curve -image 3 is a 10:1 curve Exponential curve: Biggest order is closest to current price -image 4 is 10:1 curve The exponential orders can be weighted 2-10/10-2 meaning the first and last orders will be between 2x-10x in order size. Buy more tokens lower/Sell more tokens higher or vice versa. Basically just Spot, Bid/Ask, Curve LP shapes but with limit orders. Ive got a few more strategies I've got to add but wanted to get some feedback on it thus far. And it does work already although its pretty bare bones atm.

Thought that 2025 was going to be one of the worst years of my life. It was one thing on top of another in every part of my life; it was difficult to pay the bills, suffering a lot of disappointments, and dealing with the loss of my 16-year-old dog that was my emotional support through a big part of my life. Was very hard to stay focused on the mental and emotional level. My LP journey was too affected; there were more losses than wins... But I knew that was not the end... But @thegoosedao family was always there to support me. I appreciate all the understanding & time they took with me. @MeteoraAG , @met_lparmy & Meteora team showed me that there is always an opportunity, and a relief, and many parts of my life. That's why I wanted to meet you all at Met Dhabi, hopefully next time I'll be able to hug you all. A bad streak in your life doesn't mean everything is lost. That's why I want to thank all those who have been with me during my lowest moments and had faith in me when I didn't, especially in 2025, when I didn't know what to do; they still stayed with me. I guess the "What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger" words are true. I'll do my best not dissapoint you all this 2026. Wow what a great read. Everyone that is currently dlmming should read this as well. This has been the only post that has made me want to use heart attack (I’ve used it maybe once). The conditions have to be prime it seems. Helps me understand how it works a lot better though and when to use it. Thank you boss. Great meeting you irl as well 🤝

@crimexbt @GeekLad Yes this is the missing component in your experiment - the traders order size. Lots of small orders will prob pick the cheap small bin step pools and big ones will benefit more from the large bin step and expensive pools because of slippage & execution reliability

Yes it is very odd… I was even more surprised because the higher fee pool seemed to have gotten the majority of order flow. I think a lot of dependents too, maybe the order size that came in. Maybe if smaller orders had came thru in separate chunks it would route thru the more “price efficient” route. But big order needs more size to fulfill and the confidence in the 250 bin is better for the route

I ran a DLMM experiment yesterday to see which pools would get more orderflow / perform better with identical ranges and the same amount invested. There are many nuances to how this works, so this might not apply to every token — especially higher MC tokens — and honestly might not even apply to all low caps. But I learned something new. Sometimes aggregators (Jupiter for example) will route orders through a higher fee, higher bin step pool under certain conditions. This was honestly shocking to me, because it didn’t make sense in my head coming from traditional orderbooks. Instead of just taking the “best bid,” an aggregator will sometimes skip around that and route through another pool that’s technically more expensive — just to hit a bigger chunk of liquidity. It does this because when an order has to move through multiple thin bins, there can be increased: -expected slippage -probability of failure -or both Basically, lower bin step pools become more efficient when the token is already very liquid, or when the liquidity in the lower bin step pool proportionally matches the higher bin step pool. Example (assuming identical range): 250 bin step → ~$100 liquidity 100 bin step → ~$250 liquidity This is roughly the point where the 100 bin step pool would theoretically start getting similar orderflow to the 250 bin step pool. This isn’t perfectly linear, but it’s a good way to think about it in your head. Hopefully you learned something — I know it’s not the most important thing to know, but it was something I was very, very curious about. P.S. @crimexbt Check this out - a little out of date since metis router has changed but theorycrafting about order flow still relevant imo.

Concerned that with a growing LP Army and dwindling on chain vol, these updates, which mostly add more friction for a token to pump, will create a pretty ruthless and dumpy PA. Solana needs some innovative new concepts that bring more vol on chain to burst through this friction.

Since returning from MetDhabi I have been focusing on regaining emotional control of my LPing. Clarity precedes consistency. Consistency precedes confidence. Preparing for a fresh start & challenge in the new year. In the meantime, having fun with new metlex custom PNLs

Hello Milords, I’ve been a bit less active since getting back from Abu Dhabi because I’ve been going through a difficult personal moment in my life, and it’s been hard to process over the past few days. But here we are we’re going to bounce back and get back to creating content very soon. I just needed a few days to regroup and get my head straight, because it honestly wasn’t easy.
