Politics, but I actually care about policy, not culture war BS. Tennis, but I just like when it's fun to watch and don't really care who wins.

@thefedexpresss 2009 was basically peak top 10, but: 1. This 2026 field is missing a couple of pretty notable names of this era due to injury 2. Even with those names missing, this is a pretty strong field. Sinner and Zverev would both make the top 10 of 2009, and you’re underselling the rest.

@Wes71712 @djokerprime @ltunyiswa Yea and I’m sure you’ll tell me that the players on this list were in their peak in 2015. Whatever, all you Nole Fam are the same. You people need to fucking stop. You can make the GOAT case for Novak without spewing blatantly misleading shit and putting current players down.

@itstreenut @djokerprime @ltunyiswa You're jumping from take to take and idgf. The list that was provided is his opposition in the period mentioned in the original post. List provided by you is also accurate and they are miles ahead of what Fed faced in peak period that you limited so it won't overlap Nole's 2011+.

@Wes71712 @djokerprime @ltunyiswa But moronic Nole fam people want to scream that he won 24 grand slams while facing Federer and Nadal. This is blatantly false.

@Wes71712 @djokerprime @ltunyiswa It’s just silly to me that people cite competition as a key point of Novak’s greatness. The guy has had a 20 year career of top level tennis. Hes bound to have some periods with top tier competition, and some periods with less competition. The longevity is what makes him amazing.

@josepharnaldo @djokerprime @ltunyiswa Djokovic took the lead in H2H in 2016. Roger Federer was 35 years old, and Djokovic was 28. The absolute earliest you could say this flipped was around 2011 or 2012, where Djokovic would’ve been 24-25, and fed was already in his 30s. Please be serious.

@Wes71712 @djokerprime @ltunyiswa Djokovic won 10 of his 24 slams in 2019-2023, a period where a looong past prime Nadal was still top 10, and the remainder included players like Medvedev, Berrettini, Tsitsi, and Ruud. Zverev is the best consistent top 10 player from this era. Idk what you’re talking about.

@itstreenut @djokerprime @ltunyiswa You can "believe" anything you want, it doesn't change facts. "literally" none of players mentioned were severely injured, when Djokovic won most of his slams, which he did by facing most and best ever top-5, top-10, top-20 players.

@Wes71712 @djokerprime @ltunyiswa Fed’s peak was probably 06-08, Nadal around 2010-2013. By the end of that window Djokovic had I believe a total of 6 grand slams. A good career, but nowhere near his current GOAT status. Everyone else on this list peaked in a similar window.

@djokerprime @ltunyiswa You’re making my point for me…the H2Hs are from longevity…you think Djokovic had a winning H2H against Fed during Fed’s peak? Because uh…that didn’t happen.

@djokerprime Sinner’s Indian Wells draw was Shapo, Tien, Fonseca, Zverev, Medvedev…all of these players have or will be top 10 players some day, potentially with exception of Tien. Just making sure you know that.

@djokerprime @ltunyiswa Literally all of these people were retired or severely injured in the period he won most of his slams…Novak’s greatness comes from his longevity, not the matchups.

You’re totally unreasonable if you think going to sleep and Trump having a super majority, then waking up the day after Election Day and: - every swing state suddenly froze their counting - multiple key swing counties had various catastrophic events - every polling station boarded windows to prevent media oversight - this fucking graph

“Reasonable minds can disagree about the 2020 election.” No, they can’t. If you think the 2020 election was stolen, you are not a reasonable person. If you make that claim in a court of law and advise your client to act on that fraudulent premise, you should be disbarred.

@TennisConnected @bolaliftada He played the full clay season every year because it was the part of his season that was by far the most important. Both Sinner and Alcaraz can and do win a large chunk of their points on other surfaces…the calculus isn’t the same at all, even ignoring Nadals rich injury history

@bolaliftada Correct. But he played the full clay season almost for his entire career. The most gruelling part of the season. Sinner and Alcaraz barely can. Every year they pull out or are injured of an event or 2.

@cosmepolitics @naaycoqui Putting Joe Manchin on this list shows how unbelievably unserious leftists are about power. Find another democrat who can win West Virginia. Supporting Joe Manchin was absolutely the right call, and believing otherwise demonstrates that you have no interest in power...

@naaycoqui No because Hasan’s support isn’t what made Fetterman win. The dude memed his way to the Senate. At least the left owns the mistake of supporting Fetterman. Democrats can’t do the same for someone like Henry Cuellar or Joe Manchin or Kyrsten Sinema.

@PodSaveAmerica AOC/Bernie/similar politicians are worth fighting to keep in the party. Hasan Piker and the like are not. You don't get to both benefit from party infrastructure and throw bombs at the party at every turn. Fuck these people.

@TheLaurenChen Barack Obama negotiated a deal with Iran better than what Trump will get over a decade ago. You people are so uneducated it's insane. Stop voting. You're too stupid.

@breccastoll The “why” here is very very important. Biden’s inflation was a combination of Covid and Russia’s war in Ukraine. Trump’s inflation is because he decided to bomb Iran for seemingly no clear reason. These are not the same.

Lots of inflation chatter today. Here’s the data. In nearly two-thirds of Biden’s presidency, inflation was higher than the peak rate of 3.3% under Trump.

@Tokeythegod @DomainDead Left wing politicians should be loudly denouncing people like you and working on signal boosting messages that actually represent the beliefs of the party. You people are a scourge in American politics. Listening to you people is what got us here in the first place.

@Tokeythegod @DomainDead Leftists voted 90% in favor of harris in the last election. The problem is the very very small super vocal minority whose votes don't matter, but retards like you scream dumb shit, and right wingers use your stupid talking points to attack the rest of us sane people on the left.

For liberals it seems to be a genuine impossibility that politicians should have to EARN your vote instead of just being owed our fealty in a never ending billionaire class popularity contest where we have no agency.
