No I was sucker punched in the back of the head by a black 17 year old, at 11am, randomly, in a convenience store and in the immediate aftermath, while I was beating the brakes off of him with a metal camera, a black 24 year old stole my wallet off the counter After I called the cops, they were arrested with my wallet, because they were going store to store trying to get cash back from my locked debit card. The USAO declined to press charges. This, combined with having a gun pointed at me on two separate occasions last summer (both by black people), and the fact that the share of murders in Washington DC committed by black people is without exaggeration LITERALLY 99% (johns hopkins school of public health study of crime data 2019-2022, as well as DC MPD homicide data) has made me less delicate when discussing the matter. It hasn't made me hate black people. But it has forced me to acknowledge that there is clearly a racial aspect to this, and tiptoeing around it is clearly not helping ANYBODY
