🚨 UPDATE: Queens, NY — Frontier flight 4195 collided with an FDNY fire truck on runway 4 at LaGuardia Airport. Multiple injuries reported per fire department; 2nd Alarm (Box 37) response continues with crews on scene. Airport operations impacted, runway closed. Details on victims and cause still emerging.

Video from the scene at La Guardia this evening. Eyewitness in the video states the aircraft’s nose lifted after passengers deplaned the CRJ.

@TheIntelFrog The collision happened at E though, according to flightradar’s position data which is confusing to me.

UPDATE: Analysis of tower audio and map of the airport indicates the aircraft was showing a speed of 114kts or 131mph. JAZZ646 (yellow line) was cleared to land on Runway 4. Truck 1 & Company (green line) requested to cross RW 4 and was authorized to cross by the tower at taxiway D (red circle). Tower then attempts to call Truck 1 and tells them to stop multiple times. The silences and unrelated traffic has been trimmed from this audio, provided by @liveatc.
