Canada has generally followed a very similar pattern of waves as the UK. I agree that levels are as low as they've been in a long time (since Omicron, well over a year), that there haven't been major new variants in a while, and that fall/winter may be a different story.

Covid hasn't gone away & I expect there will be new waves in autumn as people return to school, uni, work & immunity wanes. I still advocate for cleaner indoor air & other mitigations, but right now I believe there's not much Covid around. I, for one, am very glad of it. 13/13

31. Also get your rooftop solar system built when you have scaffolding up for something else, 'cos scaffolding is expensive. Ideally build it when youโ€™re building the roof, there will never be a better time. Rooftop solar mandates are good and should be more common.

Was surprised to see PM2.5 levels in my home creep up last night to ~20 ug/m3. Higher levels outside. Bumped up filtration inside --> ~10 ug/m3 inside now. Again, super valuable in our apocalyptic world to get an indoor air quality monitor.
