@GarnettGenuis Prejudice against women in Quran 2-282: “And bring two witnesses from among your men. And if there are not two men, then a man and two women from those whom you accept as witnesses - so that if one of the women errs, then the other can remind her”.

It was a pleasure to speak to members of the Muslim community gathered on Parliament Hill tonight. At this critical time Canadians of all faiths stand together to defend religious freedom. Freedom from coercion and violence and freedom from state interference. Eid Mubarak!

@GarnettGenuis Hi Garnett, Islam's God, Allah, teaches that the Jews, Christians, and unbelievers are worse than swine and vermine. He even commands muslims to fight them until they pay the protection tax, lest they be killed. Is this religious freedom?

@sola_chad "And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment,.." ~ Hebrews 9:27 Chad, your engagement farming is despicable and indicative of how far you are from God. Turn to Christ before it's too late, for the sake of your family and your congregation.

Below is a caricature, not an argument. “Desires all to be saved” (1 Tim 2:4) is not equivalent to “compels all to be saved.” If rejection = failure, then Jesus “failed” in Matt 23:37. Calvinism trades love for meticulous control and renames it sovereignty.

Calvinist "teachers" like the late John MacArthur think that if they decree their opinions authoritatively & dogmatically enough, people will buy them... and Calvinists DO buy these opinions.

If you believe that I can only be saved through your religion, then you must not care for me at all if you do not wish to share it. I will continue to share Christ with the world, because I love my brothers and sisters in humanity, and because there is no other way. "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." ~ John 14:6 Please, friend - research the evidence for Christ. If you find it to be false, then you can be only more assured of your faith. But, if you find it to be true, then your eternity will look very different.

Not at all, brother. Jesus says quite clearly that it is those who He will not cast out or deny, but we can most certainly break our own seal and willfully apostatize - He will leave us to our allegiances, even if He still chases us for a little while. "For if we go on sinning deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a fearful expectation of judgment, and a fury of fire that will consume the adversaries. " ~ Hebrews 10:26-27 But... "My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous." ~ 1 John 2:1 We must aim not to sin but, so long as we cling to our great high priest (Hebrews 5:6-9), we have forgiveness for our sins in Christ Jesus. All blessings on your faith journey, and welcome to the family!

@jeru_complete New Christian here. Does this mean Christs atonement didn’t work for that person? Is that Christ failing to keep all that the father has given him? John 6:37. Just trying to marry up differing ideas and build my system of understanding

If you are truly Born Again, Jesus will not lose one of you. John 6:39 (one of many such verses) Only those trying to earn their salvation (usually the water baptism crowd) think they can lose it. But they never had it.

I don't judge you in the slightest. I know I need to be saved from my sins as much as you do, and I pray to the most high God that we all come to know Him. "The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance." ~ 2 Peter 3:9

@jeru_complete @_ManiNEsS_ @tadgh_dc The standard of human decency. Your god literally gives instructions on how to buy slaves, own them as PROPERTY for LIFE, and pass them down to their children and grandchildren as PROPERTY for LIFE (Leviticus 25 : 44-46). Straight up evil.

@jeru_complete @RisingDisciples Have you read Isaiah 53? And if so, when it says that it was the will of the Lord to crush Jesus and He has put Him to grief, that has nothing to do with God's intentions of putting Christ to death for the forgiveness of sins?

@Matthew_T_Lowe @btbsoco A parody is an intentionally false representation of something. If you know it's not correct, and you willfully partake, in what way is it not mockery? I don't care about mold, but it sounds like you're saying doing things incorrectly may have medicinal benefits.

@jeru_complete @btbsoco Willingly partaking in parody? It’s a shame you couldn’t argue in good faith. You may be interested to learn that moldy bread has been eaten for thousands of years all over the world. And that it was considered medicinal…and it’s how penicillin was invented.

@jeru_complete @tadgh_dc How anyone can see the hideous things that your “god” has done in your book of fairytales—oops, I mean the Bible—and not see a false god is an idiot and a loon.

@Matthew_T_Lowe @btbsoco Actually, I'd say the opposite. We should not mock God by willfully partaking in a parody of his sacraments when we know it's only a facade. Moldy bread is poison, and so it's better to starve. Jesus did not tell us to choose the lesser evil - he said to choose good.

@jeru_complete @btbsoco I see now. I wouldn’t be fat-affirming in this scenario, though. I’m the one saying “if a person is starving, and only moldy bread is available, get those nutrients.” It’s better to eat fresh bread It’s better to be baptized in the full name of the Trinity. But not essential.
