Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: "The Hour will not be established until you fight against jews, and the stone behind which a Jew will be hiding will say: 'There is a jew hiding behind me come kill him.'" I never understood this Hadith until today.

@btbsoco What matters is what is in the heart of the person being baptized, not the words spoken.

Sister, I know it's unlikely you'll see this but - if God wills it - maybe it'll help. Romans begins by emphasizing the importance of individual choice (see last half of Romans 1). Once we reach Romans 9, Paul begins by expressing his sadness that the Israelites have themselves chosen not to accept Christ (first few verses) - especially in light of theirs being the promise they're throwing away. Continuing with this same subject, he goes on by mentioning Jacob and Esau about the order of their promises (no, not their salvation) by referencing Malachi 1: 2-5 and so comparing modern Israel to Edom, who fell away from God by giving away their promise (like Esau and the lentil soup). Remember, Esau was the firstborn and so would have (providence notwithstanding) had Jacob's destiny if he had treasured his promised inheritance, just like how the Jews were those originally promised salvation. The next portion, about Pharaoh, is an example of someone who was given many free choices to turn to God, but repeatedly turned it down ('hardened his heart' numerous times before 'God hardened his heart'). This was Paul's way of highlighting Israel's repeated opportunities to turn to Christ but being unable to see because of the self-induced hardness of their hearts. The last relevant portion, about the potter and clay, needs to be read with how Paul understood this analogy: "In a large house there are articles not only of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay; some are for special purposes and some for common use. Those who cleanse themselves from the latter will be instruments for special purposes, made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do any good work." ~ 2 Timothy 2: 20-21 All love and blessings be on you, sister. Even if we don't all agree on the details, we're still one family in Christ and should continue to act like it. God bless.

It's not losing your salvation if you did not yet have it in completion. You can forfeit an inheritance to come. "And not only the creation, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies." ~ Romans 8:23 Likewise, as others have mentioned, Hebrews 6:4-6 is clear that you may have the Spirit and lose Him, which is fundamentally what it means to forfeit your inheritance because He is the seal of our salvation (Ephesians 1:13-14). Seals can certainly be unsealed - they just can't be rightfully sealed again, except by the original sealer.

If you are truly Born Again, Jesus will not lose one of you. John 6:39 (one of many such verses) Only those trying to earn their salvation (usually the water baptism crowd) think they can lose it. But they never had it.
