One of the victims of the Boulder attack was a Holocaust survivor.
She endured the worst evil in human history. She came to America seeking safety.
And now, decades later, she’s victimized again by a terrorist screaming “Free Palestine.” The same slogan another terrorist just screamed when murdering Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Milgrim on May 21.
The attack on this survivor reminds me of the horror of October 7, when Holocaust survivors were murdered and dragged away by Hamas terrorists in Israel.
But this time, it happened here. In our country.
This is all caused by the same type of hatred: antisemitism.
If you chant slogans like “Free Palestine” or "From the River to the Sea," shame on you. You are calling for hate and for the destruction of an entire people.
And if your friends say these slogans, ask yourself: do you want to stand with people who support this kind of horror?
Now is the time to speak up. To take a stand. No more silence. No more excuses.
Holocaust survivors should not spend the final chapter of their lives experiencing or witnessing this hatred again. We must fight this terror together.
