1. We know from @ONS which groups have have the highest CVD mortality. We can see from #CVDprevent , how many have uncontrolled CVD risk factors and can monitor these numbers over time. Eg about 500K people in Deprivation quintile 1 currently have BP not treated to target.

The Community Pharmacy Blood Pressure Check Scheme is an incredibly important part of our work to reduce cardiovascular mortality. It can really help us to reduce health inequalities. #ZeroCVD

It’s been brilliant to see so many pharmacists focussing on #CVDPrevention. CVD claims 136,000 lives a year and is the largest cause of health inequalities. Not only is CVD prevention strongly evidence based, it works really quickly. @davidwebb_1 @jignesh263 @Pharma2wit
