Ro Khanna and Thomas Massie are now unelectable. You won’t fully understand for some time, but as we continue through this timeline that has been forced on us, you will see. They didn’t understand the cases, and now they’ve stepped into a catastrophe of their own making.
Rep. Ro Khanna@RepRoKhanna

I appreciate @JSweetLI’s reporting confirming today that Salvatore Nuara, Zurab Mikeladze, Leonid Leonov, and Nicola Caputo were just part of a photo line up and are not connected to Epstein's crimes. I wish DOJ had provided that explanation earlier instead of redacting then unredacting their names. They have failed to protect survivors, created confusion for innocent men, and have protected rich and powerful abusers. We must have full transparency and the truth.

Bought this recently released XikeStor USB 3.2 Gen2 network adapter. It uses the power efficient (<2W) 10Gbps Realtek RTL8159 chip. On Linux with the latest Realtek driver I was able to achieve 8.6 Gbps.

New Danish app that helps consumers boycott American products. It requires an iPhone (🇺🇸) and the product photos you take with it are sent to OpenAI (🇺🇸). 😂
Kaspar Hansen@KasparGKHansen

#dkmedier

In addition to the Framework, we also offer a universal version.Crafted with precision CNC machining, this USB 3.2 Gen 2 to 10GbE adapter is likely the world's smallest, delivering high-speed wired networking in an incredibly compact and durable metal enclosure. Follow @WisdPi for early bird batches coming soon to presale. #rtl8159

More than an adapter, it's a piece of precision engineering. The meticulously CNC-milled chassis not only provides superior heat dissipation for sustained 10G performance but also delivers a substantial, satisfying heft that speaks to its quality. #rtl8159

Ordered Apple's 1.8m TB4 cable for use with a Linux PC. Amazon and Walmart both have it on sale for $74 right now (normally $129). If you want to know why people pay for this Apple cable then just read the 1-star reviews of Anker's 6ft TB4 cable.

@YunTaTsai1 What years were you at Nokia? My 9110 was confiscated in Norway in 2000 because I had a backup of the DeCSS source code on it. A news article at the time mentioned it and a fan in the US bought me a new one!

When I was at Nokia, we had a big debate to remove the physical keyboards and go all-in to the touch screen. The engineers at US tried to convince the engineers in Finland that it was a better design with a slimmer profile and touch screen only. We even demonstrated some apps on iPod Touch with some concept experiences. “What if touch screen stopped working?” “It does not work with big thumbs” “Customers would feel insecure without physical buttons.” In the end, the Finnish engineers gave us thousands of reasons why touch screen only was bad. The US engineers were frustrated because they could see the writing on the wall. Then we realized it was very difficult to for a company to give up its legacy crutches. Almost never.

This is the 2nd lizard this roadrunner has caught in my backyard today. At this rate, there won't be any lizards left by the end of the week.

@sdamico @ImpulseLabs_ It's a bit awkward. Your likely customer right now who can afford it probably has a 36" stove.

There's no need to spend taxpayer dollars on this program in perpetuity. Europe's high energy prices already incentivizes manufacturers to make their devices energy efficient.

Not once in my life have I looked for the Energy Star certification when buying an appliance/device. In fact, the last time I even remember seeing the Energy Star logo was in the days of CRT monitors.

The Environmental Protection Agency plans to end Energy Star, a popular program whose iconic blue labels have certified the energy efficiency of home appliances for more than three decades, according to two people briefed on the matter. wapo.st/42M3InF

@0xJoIris @antoniogm Of course there are things that are better in Europe. The pathetic power rating to most European homes is not one of them. If your 3-phase service is 25A/phase (most common in CZ), you'll have ~5kW leftover for other appliances when the aforementioned sauna heater is running.

@jonlech @antoniogm I'm in Czech Republic and I have 3 phases at home. It's easy to get if you want it. Didn't have power outage in like 5 years and 5 years ago it was for like 5 minutes. This failure to admit that anything could be better out of U.S. is extremely cringe.

The European mind cannot comprehend that I have 320A 240V residential service.
Jon Lech Johansen@jonlech

@antoniogm The europoors can't afford to have a 10.5kW sauna heater at home. Not just due to expensive power, but also because they would barely be able to power anything else in the home at the same time.
