This is the Islamic Republic’s threat: They say we put the last two in a sack, kidnapped them brought them back to Iran and killed them. You’re next. We’ll put you in a sack too. This is what I’m facing these days and on the other side, two men @mehdirhasan and @tparsi who have never lived in Iran, who have no family there, who have never faced imprisonment and assassination plots by this regime, are now obsessively targeting and bullying me, using their platforms to spread misinformation in order to attack me. For security and safety reasons, I can’t talk about what I have been going through these days. But one day, I will reveal in full how the misinformation they keep repeating has been used these days by the Islamic Republic to target, intimidate, and endanger me and my family. For Mehdi Hasan, Trita Parsi and others who are using the same wrong narrative to attack me: Don’t you understand how the regime uses your social media statements to target me outside and interrogate our relatives, activists, and campaigners inside Iran? Let me give you an example: When @IlhanOmar shared misinformation about me on her twitter about my work as a freelancer journalist at Voice of America, it was immediately broadcast on state TV as “fact”, and later used by Islamic regime to justify targeting me, even hiring assassins in New York. You are obsessed with me, the same way the IRGC was obsessed and tried to kill me three times. That is why you keep twisting my words, as usual. You can never find any video or statement from me asking the US to “ bomb Iran”. By calling me, Islamophobic or an advocate to “bomb Iran”, you literally giving wrong evidence to IRGC and Islamists to kill me on US soil. You know it’s very well that I have warned the US to target the IRGC, missile sites, and the regime’s repression apparatus, not civilian, and not power plants. You know it very well that how many times I said, publicly targeting civilians and blackouts punish the Iranian people, not the terrorists holding them hostage. Unlike you, I don’t worship politicians, so, I praised President Trump when he was right and criticized him when he was wrong . You hate Trump and you shifted your hatred towards me and millions of unarmed Iranians who do the same and who do want to change this regime. Mehdi Hassan! You’ve always behaved like an intolerant mullah and a loyal ally to the Iranian regime, never to its suffering people. People like you constantly bully us and provide misinformation that the regime uses to interrogate our family members inside Iran. Mullah Mehdi! from your continuous platforming of regime apologists like Trita Parsi to your sermons calling non-Muslims “animals” , your pattern is clear. The Iranian people see through regime allies like you. Stop your smear campaign against Iranians who want to have the same freedom that you take for granted in America. #IranMassacre‌ #DigitalBlackout

We need to act to prevent runaway profits off the back of runaway oil prices. While we let wholesale prices soar with global markets, we allow household energy bills to soar with them.
