It was an NDP private members bills that would have forced floor crossers to resign their seats and run in a by-election. The Conservatives truly are the makers of their own demise. Look it up!

@alda_mcculloch @dubsndoo Alda, might be time for a history lesson. Conservative Prime Minister Stephen Harper had the opportunity to stop floor crossing in 2011. Bill C306 was going to force floor crossers to resign and run in the By-election. The government, the Conservative government voted against it!
