@davetrott Dave a fan. Surely, it’s all about the product? If the product is all ‘excellent’ surely you’re knackered. Of course a brand story helps ‘sales’. But really has it come to this? So, we’re now in the world of same products, different story? Why care about the product?

In Hampstead there are five coffee shops nearby each other, they all serve excellent coffee. A question for advertising folk, which of the five will I be going back to? One of the ones with near-identical branding, or the one with a genuine USP?
