My thoughts are with British citizens in the Gulf. Having lived and worked in that region, I called out the Opposition's careless, aggressive language in the Commons. Our diplomats and armed forces deserve a united House as they deal with this crisis.

8/ I will keep speaking out about this as the process continues. The will of the people must be honoured.

7/ I and many Commons colleagues are prepared to reintroduce this legislation should we be successful in the private members ballot in the next session, which starts in the coming weeks. We are not going away.

1/ A small minority of unelected peers are filibustering the Assisted Dying Bill to death with over a thousand amendments. The elected Commons passed it. The public backs it. I will keep fighting until the will of the people is honoured.

Said hello to President Zelensky in Parliament yesterday. A hero of the free world. The Ukrainian people are the bravest of the brave, fighting for freedom, democracy and international law. Britain stands with Ukraine. Slava Ukraini.

I will never surrender the flag. No group, party, skin colour, ethnicity or religion owns patriotism. Those who build this country up are patriots. Those who stoke fear and division are not.

We need answers from Richard Tice. His tax affairs just don’t stack up.

The PM is right: defend our interests, protect our people, refuse to be drawn into a wider war we did not start. Glad the Chancellor called in petrol retailers too. No price gouging on the home front. Calm, resolute leadership.

I raised Rugby's 409 unfilled potholes in the Commons this week. The Labour Government has given Warwickshire £25m for road repairs. The Reform-led council needs to spend it. Over-offering and under-delivering.

Announced today: £3k Youth Jobs Grant for employers who take on a young person unemployed for 6 months; £2k bonus for SMEs taking on a young apprentice; Extension of long term unemployed jobs guarantee to 22-24 yr olds. Giving hope and opportunity to young people 🌹

38 years ago, Saddam’s regime used chemical weapons on Halabja, killing thousands of Kurdish men, women and children. I visited Halabja on the 25th anniversary. We remember that day, and remembrance carries responsibility.
