The line I heard most this week at @consensus2026: “the agentic economy will hit $3 to $5 trillion by 2030.” If that's where this is going, AI agents need to know what's safe to use, generate, and license. Right now, they're guessing. That's what we're building at @discovant, a search engine for IP that answers copyright, patent, and trademark questions with the legal reasoning behind every answer. The market wants this.

The largest copyright settlement in US history gets final approval Thursday, and almost nobody is quoting the line that actually matters. The release only covers Anthropic's conduct through August 25, 2025. Every output Claude has generated in the past 9 months is still legally open. Bartz closed one door and left another one wide open...

One thing crypto taught me is how to read people early. Before the followers, before the big partnerships, and before anyone else is paying attention. You can tell who's going to make it if you know what to look for. It's always the one who's been quietly putting in work for months without any recognition and hasn't slowed down once. The one who treats people well when there's nothing to gain from it, and the one who's obsessed with getting better and is honest enough to admit what they're not good at yet. I've built relationships with people like this before anyone knew their name. Some of them are now running projects, leading communities, and building real businesses. The traits that make someone successful long term are visible way before the success is. Most people just aren't paying attention early enough.
