As millions of agents start to come online, the internet needs to distinguish bot armies from the agents acting on behalf of humans. Introducing AgentKit, the human layer for agentic automation. Built on World ID, the AgentKit beta unlocks human-verified automation, a new primitive for the agent economy.

The Ethereum Foundation just published a new mandate defining its role. It’s a good moment to revisit a broader question for crypto: what role should foundations play as networks mature? @milesjennings explored this in “The End of the Foundation Era in Crypto,” including why some foundations (like EF) have played an important role in getting networks off the ground.

Christian Catalini on where humans still add value in an AI world: "Across pretty much every profession—law, engineering, strategy—there are components where machines are really good at average, or even above average. They've ingested the right materials, they've seen enough examples." "Then there's the final verification layer, which is all about the exceptional—the recombination that pushes the boundary forward." "Some of the greatest artists are really good at capturing a sentiment that hasn't been fully expressed in data yet, or by society." "That layer of applying your own expertise and accumulated experience to make that decision—it's still human across all of those professions." "It's almost like a universal meta-skill." @ccatalini @a16zcrypto

1/ An uncomfortable truth: Even the best crypto product in the world will lose to an inferior product with a better sales team. Too many technical founders refuse to accept this until it's too late.

Big companies have big constraints... treat them as design inputs rather than compromises, and you'll win more. @cc_crowley and I wrote about why Enterprises don’t buy the best tech (they buy the least disruptive path to progress). a16zcrypto.com/posts/article/…

The best technology doesn't always win in the enterprise. The reason isn't technical. It’s organizational. For years, we've had tech that could improve financial rails 10×+. Most of it never got adopted. Enterprises buy the least disruptive path to progress.  Failure inside large institutions is asymmetric. Missed upside is invisible. Visible mistakes aren't. Before your product reaches a buyer, it's often filtered through consultants whose job is to make decisions defensible. Your technical champion isn't your customer. Legal, compliance, risk, and finance have quiet veto power. Winning a pilot ≠ winning adoption. Everybody's hedging. The goal is to become the hedge they scale. A few lessons for crypto founders selling into enterprises, with @lordvolth  → a16zcrypto.com/posts/article/…

i'm joining @a16zcrypto to shape their social strategy. crypto is the most interesting technology being built today, but most of the world still just doesn't get it. telling that story well requires long-term thinking from long-term believers, and a16z is the place to do it. couldn't be more ready for this one.
