@ESWolves_star They took a big accounting hit in 2025, but it’s mostly “on paper.” It wrote down the value of some older projects and non-essential business assets, which caused a huge loss figure. It’s sensible and good for long term investors.

@AntonioMango4 I assume it doesn’t include the Jan 26 transfer window because if it doesn’t Wolves match Brighton’s figures. Which may be admirable but it eventually gets us relegated

Brighton are the only Premier League side with a POSITIVE Net Spend over the Past 5 Years. Interesting list to say the least .... Maybe City don't spend the most?! Newcastle spending more than Liverpool, City & many others. Aston Villa and Unai Emery massive credit.

@CraigHope_DM Think you might find them dipping into sovereign wealth fund to pay for new toll route post Straits of Hormuz settlement. Sorry to disappoint but the world is different to when they purchased the club - priorities change

@FabrizioRomano And that’s the problem, you can acknowledge the quality but as we discovered last week with Chelsea’s industrial scale deception you cannot overlook the context. If you want to ignore this crucial aspect, that’s your right

@MrRyanLeister In a week when Chelsea misdemeanours are on an industrial scale, this lots are off the stratosphere. Great to see football fans mobilising against the injustice served to lesser clubs. City and Chelsea will always have an asterisk against trophies won in the last decade

@catyler84 @molineuxmusings Companies mess up. Everton were in a worse state. Today they are carrying a £1bn debt - let that sink in All we ask is fosun redeem themselves. Early signs are positive. If applauding it constitutes happy clapping, so be it.

@ConceptScouting a comparison we signed Djiga from the same club and same money when Bournemouth bought Veljko Milosavljević. My concern about our recruitment team is they’re not great at identifying the nuggets. Jury out on Lima, Enzo and Bastian sold. We spent 20m with no return

A centre-back playing in Ligue 2. 20 years old. RB Leipzig just paid around €20m. Abdoul Koné (20, 🇫🇷) of Reims - the profile speaks for itself. 🛡️ PAdj Interceptions - 92pct 🥇 🎯 Progressive Passes/90 - 93pct 🥇 📤 Passes to Final Third/90 - 90pct 🥇 ✈️ Aerial Duel Win% - 82pct 🥇 Benchmarked against 3,835 centre-backs worldwide. The amount of people that dont get Danny dyers point about football is exactly what is wrong with football. Im a swindon fan cus its where im from. All my friends who are also from here support a team in the "big 6" for no fucking reason. It's pathetic. #STFC

@MrRyanLeister @TheWolvesReport @Nocky1982 Starting to channel thoughts to next season and inevitable speculation - player trading, ticketing, stadium infrastructure, academy and Wolves Women. Revenues will be 80m down. Key will be any owner investment. Gut feeling is player trading on its own won’t be sufficient.

@molineuxmusings Thought we tried but something you’ve pointed out all season: quality, lack of firepower and certainly first half a half decent opposition were again telling factors.

@knowledge1877 It’s a game of football - we try to win it. I don’t think it’s much more complicated than that now there is a semblance of a chance of survival. A draw is as good as a loss in that context

Why haven’t we gone to a back 4 in the last 10? The back three allowed them safe possession. Brentford were done at 2-2 and I’m sorry, but draws mean nothing except for maintaining a sense of competitiveness about the end of our season. Am I being unreasonable?

@SophyRidgeSky Any credibility the game’s authorities had left is down the swanny. And that’s before we get to the ill gotten gains of Chelsea’s former owner.

@MrRyanLeister Overall ticket sales - £17m (last club accounts) 25% reduction = circa £4m Projected EFL income - £100m inc parachute money - revised £96m Gap most likely to be offset by player sales - equivalent to Arias book value profit. Job done! Small price to pay for goodwill 😇

#wwfc This is the level of communication we should expect from our executive chairman. For a long time, the football club didn’t feel like Jeff’s priority & as a result we are where we are now, which feels like it’s been acknowledged in this club post. Nathan will ultimately be judged on the success of his actions, but communicating with clarity is very much a step in right direction.
