@MontgomeryCoMD A study by the Brookings Institution found that rent control in Los Angeles led to a 7% decrease in the supply of rental housing. This decrease in supply led to higher rents for both controlled and uncontrolled units.

🎉A historic day for Montgomery County! The new #RentStabilization law, capping rent increases at 3% plus inflation, is officially signed. A great step to protect residents from rent gouging. 130,000+ households can breathe easier today! 💪🏠 🔗 📰 ow.ly/E5fR50PjPea

Q: If we have claims of UAP invading US airspace at will and defying the laws of physics, why on earth would there be no top US theoretical physicists involved if this is a real phenomenon?? This makes no sense. Note: “Stovepiping”, “Need to Know” etc. or mumbling about “MetaMaterials” is not an answer to this this question. It would be an evasion of this question.

What question would you liked asked in the UAP hearing?

@krish2132 @DanPriceSeattle Oh I don't think that the issue is about preventing people from buying...but I believe that M. Bezos pays less taxes than an "average" american citizen (lets say making $35k/y) and that is not conceivable for a functioning society.

Two divorces (Bezos and Gates) redistributed $400 billion. That's more the city budgets of NY, LA, DC, Chicago, SF, Houston, Philly, Seattle, Portland, Austin, Phoenix, Dallas, Boston and Detroit combined ... then doubled. Relying on billionaire charity will never be the answer

@AreWeFairYet @DanPriceSeattle Amazon and Microsoft grew because millions of individuals and organizations voluntarily gave their money to them in exchange for their products. If you don’t want large accumulations of wealth, you also need to consider blocking consumer purchases.
