In the ESTEAM Lab this year, our 3rd grade students participated in a Whale Conservation Effort by creating marketing materials to bring attention to endangered whales. Using a Cricut and 3D printers they created pencil pouches, water bottle stickers, and magnets.

Getting inspired to spend a summer full of reading, first graders watched exciting book trailers and then worked together to create a bookmark in @canva in the ESTEAM Lab this week.

First graders at Brookside worked together and built their very own reading tents just like in Goldie Socks and the Three Libearians! They did a lesson on finding a just right book using the 5 finger rule. How cozy and “just right!”
