Now that I have been on this for about a week consistent, I feel more confident in posting this. This past week I started my lifestyle changes. I cut out the sugary beverages and junk food, working on the portion sizes and I’ve been doing 30 minutes to an hour of cardio a day. I wasn’t doing myself any service with my previous lifestyle choices and ultimately I would like to live as long and healthy a life as I can for everyone around me as well as myself. I want to feel better as well as feel good about myself and not feel ashamed each time I saw a picture of myself. This is going to be a slow and steady process, but I’m in it for the long haul. For anyone who in similar shoes, the best time to start is always now. Don’t dwell on the what ifs and things out of your control! It’s a slippery slope that does you no service. Instead focus on the now and what is in your power to change. You’ve got this 🩵
