Gibson with 6 matches played at IW, quickly turning around and would be playing her 5th match in Miami today. Jovic is the fresher player and is coming off a dominant showing against Badosa. She returns well and has the baseline skillset to dominate defensively, blending power and excellent court coverage. This will not be an easy task for Gibson, considering she can be quite erratic with the forehand and her serve accuracy begins to decrease when she’s fatigued. Good spot for Jovic today!
