LLMs are pretty good at writing SQL, but still struggle with some things (like joins) 🤯 But what if you use an *agent* to interact with SQL DBs? In the example below, it tries a join on a column that doesn't exist, but then can see the error and fixes it in the next query

I am explicitly not working with LLM — there are plenty of smart people doing so. Still, (waving hands vaguely) it does feel like the technology could be used to “argue with itself” and eventually produce a body of knowledge much more coherent than the raw training data.

@bleepbeepbzzz Ah yes makes sense, if you have game rules defined and some measure of success, I can see that grounding. Similarly the compiler provides the rules of the game.

@macoda Let's say they're talking about a game that requires cooperation via communication for success, and they're being rewarded for success. Then they can't drift off, right?
But still, adding more loops to the picture could be interesting. What does the compiler do here?

People are speculating that LLM scaling won't continue, because we'll run out of text to train on. But you can put two LLMs talking to each other about shared context (eg images, games or simulations) and use the shared context to keep them truthful. Thus infinite training.
