Agreed Firing seems excessive for a mistaken call on a VPN glitch, but a strong public reprimand and suspension from DD News would be fair. Taxpayer-funded anchors should verify facts before accusing a stressed Class 12 student of being "Pakistani" especially after CBSE already admitted their own marking error. Vedant deserves better than this pile-on. Journalists must show more responsibility, not knee-jerk nationalism.

Ashok Shrivastav shouldn't be allowed to get away with an apology. He should be fired from his job. Put yourself in Vedant's place. You studied hard for your exam. You wrote your paper well. But CBSE goofed up with your paper and gave you low marks. You are under tremendous stress. You take to social media to highlight the issue. But a DD News anchor labels you ‘Pakistani.’ And that anchor is paid with your father's tax money. Now, imagine the trauma.

This is India's ‘FREE PRESS’ ! He's an anchor on Doordarshan, a central government TV channel. He's always spewing venom. When a child questioned the flaws in the CBSE exam testing, this national channel anchor @AshokShrivasta6 labeled him a P@kistani child. Imagine the mental trauma the child and his entire family must have suffered! This is a serious crime. It's online bullying. If it were any other country, he would be in jail for violating child rights. But the @narendramodi government won't take action against this anchor. If they do, we'll let you know. This is PRESS FREEDOM here… you can FREELY commit any crime while sitting in the government's lap. Thank you

One thing I noticed is that his answer sheet does not appear to have been evaluated through the on screen marking system and was instead checked manually only after he raised his complaint. This raises a serious possibility that his digitally evaluated answer sheet may have been wrongly assigned to another student. This is far beyond a simple clerical error. It points toward massive mismanagement, possible data mix ups, and a completely compromised evaluation process where students’ futures are being handled with shocking carelessness behind closed doors.

First page of my answer booklet (name/details) matches my handwriting, but the internal pages do not match my handwriting. Not a single page inside appears to be mine. I’ve mailed CBSE and am also trying to contact them via official numbers, but I can’t reach them on calls.

I gave Class 12 boards and was shocked to see 11/70 in Chemistry theory. I expected much higher. I first thought the scanned copy might be blurry, but it does not match my answer sheet at all,every page appears to be someone else’s writing. The handwriting is not even comparable.

I applied for CBSE revaluation. The scanned copy of my chemistry sheet I received does not match my handwriting or written responses. For reference, I am attaching my English answer sheet, which clearly reflects my actual handwriting.

Attaching the correct answer sheets screenshots here for your reference , we will still apply for reevaluation of this answer sheet after checking this sheet more closely since they have slashed my marks even when the answer is correct . Thanks @Ajatikaa mam for your help Thanks @cbseindia29

I urge CBSE to look into this answer sheet exchange issue more clearly and deeply for all the other students who are facing this same issue as me .

Thanks to the people who supported us in these tough times and we faced so much mental harrasment because of this . People called us antinational and Pakistani just because we raised a genuine concern and at the end Truth has prevailed .

We have got my correct answer sheet by CBSE . CBSE officials reached out to us in the evening and has sent my answer sheet, We were correct on our claims and the answer sheet indeed got exchanged .
