Annapurna Rasoi, where the poor were supposed to get a full meal for 8 Rupees, was rampantly corrupted by the Bhajan Lal government in Rajasthan. A 40-day investigation by Dainik Bhaskar revealed that a single person was shown to have been fed 8 to 21 times in a single day. In some cases, lunch and dinner are recorded with names changed every 15 seconds, while in others, a single person consumed more than 12 kilograms of food in a single day. The kitchen operators have designated 20-25 people who come only to have their photographs taken. Their photographs are uploaded into the system under different names. Not only this, 63 cooks have been fraudulently paid ₹2.57 crore per month. Under the rule of those who claim Na Khaunga Na Khane dunga, the poor are being robbed of their food. New methods of corruption are being discovered. Under Modi's patronage, the BJP's double engine governments are snatching even the livelihoods of the poor.
