@mattatronics @MrTomFum I seen people say the DS3 is a pain in the ass to deal with, I disagree, the DS2 is far worse. Snapping the back on really is the 'hardest' part.

Let me introduce Winds of Thunder, an original shoot ’em up released for the PC Engine in 1993. While playing it, I was reminded of Sol Divide, a shooting game released by Psikyo in 1997. The use of swords and magic in a shooter format feels quite similar between the two. As you’d expect from a CD-based game, the opening animation and BGM are absolutely fantastic and really set the mood. The game itself is quite fun, but since PC Engine CD titles are pretty niche, it remains a hidden gem that’s mostly known among dedicated fans.

Knights of Valor 2 features a hidden "Internet Ranking" mode where players could receive a special 12-digit password after finishing the game, allowing them to upload their scores to an official IGS website that hosted global leaderboards back in 2000.

@MidlifeCrysis_ Ahh yeah, you can burn discs but it still has region locks. That’s why I have to have 3 different BIOS files on my Mega Everdrive Pro to cover the regions

Mega CD Question ‼️ I’ve got my 32x and Megadrive region modded. I thought there was no region lock for Mega CD games. I get a message though when I switch my Megadrive to JP or NA on the Mega CD. Is there hardware lock on it for different regions then I assume and this can be modded?

@mattatronics I never got my cartridge, or the “next gen” PS4 version that I also backed. £300 down the toilet. I had to end up just pirating the ROM

@mattatronics Love the genesis but it always felt to me like it only had 3 maybe 4 genres to chose from Arcade port Shot em up Beat em up Platforming

@Aus_Pop_Culture Yeah he’s a strange one. Hopefully you get to give it a bash sometime. I couldn’t get it to work on my Everdrive either for some reason, yet it worked fine in Retroarch

@mattatronics He's a very unique eccentric individual. Sadly I don't own a copy & don't have the ability to load it on my Everdrive. One day maybe. Looks like a good time.
