@KiteWaltzRyder @_SpyDtroid_ Yeah it's weird cause they're entertaining and the movie is fun, but as a sequel it just kinda bothers me how chill Tifa and cloud are with them considering the events of the game. They sound like old buddies at times. Just weird

@mcbiscit @_SpyDtroid_ I was never a fan of how they were portrayed here myself. It was even worse for my friend as we watched it the day after we finished FFVII. He was a huge fan of the Turks in that game :D....seeing them here made him hate the movie that much more lol.

One of my bigger goals media wise this year was to finally play all the mainline FF games, as someone who loves the series despite only having played 3 of them. I wanna go in release order too, so I’m starting where it all began🫡

You know why I've only played FF12, FF13 trilogy, and FF15 so far even though I have every reason and time to start playing the other titles? it's because they're the most overhated, coincidentally the most appealing to me, and I can enjoy each games to the fullest with 0 hate

@mcbiscit I was gonna buy remaster, but my budget says otherwise 😭 I do hope I can enjoy the original port!

@_SpyDtroid_ Don't want to spoil but it's not terrible. Just some characters are written in a way that contrasts from OG and the main plot of this movie is a bit weird. Still has good moments throughout tho. Just overall it's a very average story addition to the FF7 compilation.

@_SpyDtroid_ The story as a sequel is in my opinion not that good. It has a nice theme but overall I think it damages the lore, characters, and world of FF7. OST is beautiful. Promised land is favorite song from it. Action scenes are fucking phenomenal.
